How much it all costs? How to work out affordable costs to your advantage.
EYFS & Primary Service Charges:
Whole Day: £60 per hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Half Day: £65 per hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Assembly: £125 up to 1 hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Virtual Visit: £125 per hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Add £45 setting up fee for each virtual workshop presentation
Workshop times will include 1 hour setting up and 1 hour packing away time as standard charges, so add 2 hours to any school visit.

Secondary School Charges:
Whole Day: £65 per hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Half Day: £70 per hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Assembly: £95 per half hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Virtual Visit: £125 per hr supplying an enhanced DBS male and female teacher
Workshop visit times will include 1 hour setting up and 1 hour packing away time as standard charges, so add 2 hours to any visit.
- Short Visits: A charge of £75 per hour is applied if the total duration of a visit to your school is three hours or less. Meditation, Vegi Food and Henna workshops are £55 per hour and there is minimum setting up required so it works out a lot cheaper
- Add £35 for an extra Assembly or Mock Wedding which requires an extra 40 minute set up
- Add £45 Extra Set Up Charge if you want more than one display or R.E. subject in a day
- INSET and ITT £399 to £599 per day plus £5 per person for an information pack
- Wesak and other 'Seasonal Discounts' are applied to workshops only for a limited time only
- Larger Schools If your school is in excess of 300 children, we can offer you a double booking for two days or more and the extra days will be discounted by 12% with no extra travel charges, only an overnight accommodation cost

Fitting Into Your Budget:
We guarantee your establishment the lowest costs plus highest quality presentations and are prepared to fit in as much as possible within your budget. However, we may not be able to work with your budget if it cannot cover our basic travel and hotel costs.
Business Status:
BHS Educational Workshops are a registered partnership company and do not have charity status and are not tax exempt.
BHS Workshop Enhanced DBS Teachers:
Most of our competitor companies only supply one teacher. BHS Education always provide an enhanced DBS male and female teacher, so you get twice the value for your school for starters.
A typical workshop day or half day costing can be worked into your budget by our expert business manager.
How We Calculate Service Charges:
The whole day is calculated from the time we arrive at your school to sign in, unload the boxes and set up the four display areas plus packing away, loading up and signing out for the day. A whole day will generally start at 8am and ends by 4.30pm. A half day is calculated from 12 noon to 4.30pm
School Budget:
Most schools find it easier to budget having us come in and present the subjects rather than hire transport and arrange excursions to Temples and Gurdwaras. Schools generally prefer us to visit because we are specifically set up to present the subject accademically and culturally.
