About Sikhism Workshops

Our Sikhism workshops effectively enliven children by engaging participants through re-enactments of traditional narratives, wearing immersive dress, occasional culinary sampling and elements of excitement and wonder.

The sessions explore the significant moments when Sri Guru Govind Singh established the Khalsa by testing his five beloved leaders and how Guru Hargobind persuaded the Mughal Emperor Jahangir to permit the escape of the Rajas, alongside the cultural appreciation of Diwali celebrations as they would have been observed over 400 years ago.

Participants also experience the profound signi-ficance of the Five Ks, complemented by a display.

Sikhism Workshop Display

Our Sikhism workshop, featuring an array of costumes and ceremonial swords, is exceptionally popular among children of all ages. Additionally, we have expanded this display to include numerous additional articles of worship.
