"Every morning we are born again.  What we do today is what matters most."  Buddha

There are several reasons why people take to meditation and each has its own methods.  Within the body lies seven energy centres called 'chakras', starting at the bottom of the spine called the base or 'mula' chakra, to the crown of the head or 'brahmarundra' chakra.

The base chakra represents basic trust in family, friends and life partners whilst the crown chakra represents spiritual knowledge and loving empathy for all moving and inert living beings.

Below are a list of seven sustems of meditation:

  • Mindfulness Meditation. Mindfulness meditation is the process of being fully present with your thoughts
  • Transcendental Meditation
  • Guided Meditation
  • Vipassana Meditation (Sayagyi U Ba Khin Tradition)
  • Loving Kindness Meditation (Metta Meditation)
  • Chakra Meditation
  • Yoga Meditation

Our meditation workshop mainly focuses on improving the well being of the sudents and staff.  A session will include the following items to help them achieve the best they can be:

  • Improving conentration
  • improving memory
  • helping to get rid of frustrations
  • decluttering the mind
  • helping to become calm
  • regulating the breathing
  • improving blood circulation

We also teach about the efficacy of using various hand mudras to enhance their life and even naturally cure ailments such as headaches, backache, asma, tiredness, obesity, tension and lack of concentration.

The thumb and four fingers represent the five elements present in our body. This science has been available in the east for thousands of years and is now becoming more known in the western hemisphere.
